Our wheat breeding programme – in conjunction with leading European partners – is in progress and is planned to produce varieties suitable for UK conditions.
The first of these, WPB Escape, is on the Spring wheat Recommended List. It is a very high yielding variety bred by Wiersum Plant Breeding with NPZ UK as the UK agent.
