Peas

The 2025 PGRO Descriptive Lists for combining peas show that LSPB varieties continue to offer pulse growers a wide choice to meet their yield, agronomic and marketing objectives.

Pangea is the top yielding green pea on the PGRO DL along with Carrington, Butterfly and Bluetime. Concerto is the top equal yielding yellow pea plus high yielding Orchestra. For Marrowfats we have three varieties - highest yielding Midori plus high-yielding Akooma and Takayama.

Looking to the future, we have a range of promising Candidates for the DL in the pipeline - including combining pea varieties to do our part in developing the UK pulse crop in the future.
